It's summer, and you know what that means. It's summer movie blockbuster season! In honor of fun times at the theater, below are five pieces of jewelry in movie history that stole the show!

Movie: Titanic
Jewelry: Heart of the Ocean Necklace
Description: 56 carat blue diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds set in white gold.
Fun Fact: The gem used in the movie was actually a London blue tanzanite.

Movie: Ocean’s 8
Jewelry: Jeanne Toussaint Necklace
Description: Two-tier diamond necklace featuring a 136.25 carat blue white diamond as the main show piece.  Described as the finest cascade of colored diamonds in the world.
Fun Fact: The original necklace, which no longer exists, was designed for the Maharajah of Nawanagar.  The replica had to be reduced in size to fit a woman for the movie.

Jewelry: Pearl Choker
Description: Multi-strand pearl choker with diamond brooch hanging in center.
Fun Fact: A prototype of the necklace was featured at the American Museum of Natural History in their “Pearls” exhibit.

Fun Fact: The ring actually belongs to cast member, Michelle Yeoh, who plays the potential mother-in-law in the movie.

Description: Magical, plain gold ring that reveals an inscription when placed in fire.
Fun Fact: The actual ring in the movie was modeled after a prototype ring made of sterling silver and plated in 18 karat gold.
